Dan Wise and I started Wrong Records because we were sick of watching other people fuck up our records, and decided that we could fuck them up better than pretty much anybody else. My grandmother called me the other day after watching the American Music Awards to yell at me for "working in the music business and being responsible for promoting such crap." I was trying to explain to her that if any of those artists had anything to do with me, she wouldn't need to send me that $10 every December, but I digress. I guess my point is that we started this label to put out great music that reflects our taste and sensibility, which means that you'll need to put our records in different iPod playlists when you steal them off the internet (please don't).

The concept was simple, I manage bands and record producers so I deal with the biz side of things and Dan is a producer, owns a bad ass studio and makes records for a living. Combine the two, and we have the beginnings of a beautiful thing. We can make great sounding records without spending much money, and we have the resources to work them once they're done.

So, to sum it all up: If you're looking for a record label, we'll listen to your music; we're into pretty much everything (though we hate most of it - sorry). If you're just checking us out, then feel free to pull out your credit card and start shopping, or if you're a record store and want to carry our record then contact us for our distributor's information.
